Do you have any sidewalk chalk? Can you draw a hopscotch on your sidewalk. Can you draw some squares big and some squares small? Change it up? Why don't you make 10 squares one day, and 20 squares the next? The keep is to get outside and keep moving.

Challenge 4: Technology Free:
Fill a box or a laundry basket with 20 small items. Imagine you are going to plant the items in the ground across your living room. As fast as you can reach in the basket, squat down, plant your item in your pretend garden, stand up, and repeat until your basket is empty. Count the items you are planting in French while you squat down.
Once your basket is empty, do your relay in reverse. Count backwards in French as you "unplant" your garden.
Was it faster to plant your garden, or unplant your garden?

Challenge 4: Set pillows and other obstacles on the floor of your living room. Imagine you are a penguin (just like the penguin from our multiplication game we played a few weeks ago). Now hop from pillow to pillow. Count by 5's in French to 50 or 100, When you get to the last number stop and take away one pillow. Some of the gaps between icebergs will get really far. If you can't hop that far to the icebergs, you will need to bear crawl on all 4's to get to the nearest pillow. The do 5 burpees to get back onto the iceberg. Start again. Counting by 5's and hopping on the icebergs. Go until there are no pillows left. Have fun little penguins.

challenge 1: Butterfly YOGA: click ***HERE*** to watch le yoga du papillon. Relax, breathe and have fun.It's less than 4 minutes of fun.

challenge 2: Click ***HERE***to participate in Le Papillon dans la Savane. Its a 20 minute stretch and YOGA around the theme of Butterflies.

challenge 3: get up and GONOODLE with the Trolls. Click ***HERE*** to dance and move to "Can't stop the Feeling"

Challenge 4: Set pillows and other obstacles on the floor of your living room. Then set a timer for 30 seconds. (If you don't have a timer, you can count to 30 in French). Next, lay on the floor and pretend you are a caterpillar. Wiggle your body across the room, around and over all the obtacles. When the timer beeps hold your position, and imagine you are a caterpillar waiting to become a butterfly. While you wait, count backwards in French from 20 to 0.When you get to 0, times up and you are now a Butterfly. Flap your arms to the other side of the room.
Pancakes
April 14-17
challenge 1: Cut 10 pancakes out of paper. Ask a member of your house to hide them around your house. Run/walk/ hop through your house and find the entire stack of 10 pancakes.

challenge 2: Cut out 2 pancakes and place them on the floor. Step on one pancake, then balance on one foot and reach down and move the other pancake. Can you get from one side of the room to the other?
​
Challenge 3: Place your stack of paper pancakes on your head. Can you walk across the room without the pancakes falling off? As you cross the room how many objects (nouns) can you list in French? Say them out loud as you cross the room. Teach these words to a family member if you can.
