Below you will find a list of songs to help you learn to skip count easily. Why learn to skip count? Learning these songs will help you to multiply and divide quickly and easily. The more you practice the better you get.

Listen to the video by Canada Crew. It is a review about Canadian Money. This video reviews the value of each coin. You will also get to see some fun coins at the Canadian Mint that can be collected. At the end of this video there is a review of the names of the Canadian Provinces. Do you remember all their names and where each one is located? Can you remember the names in French?

Can you measure the exact length of each sub sandwich? You will need to look at the ruler and count the centimeters first. Then look at how many millimeters are left. Remember 1cm=10mm.
If there are less than a full centimeter, you will turn your answer into a fraction.
1mm= 1/10cm
2mm=2/10cm = 1/5 cm
3mm= 3/10mm

Factor Family Reunion
Practice working on your factor families by playing this fun game. Place the family member at the correct table. The answer to solve each equation is on top of the table. Place ALL the family members and then click to check your answers. If some families members are flashing, this means that you will need to move them to the correct table. How fast can you fill the tables?

1. If you have a printer click HERE to print a set of multiplication flash cards. You will need to cut them out, and then work at putting the answers on the back in pencil.
Practice often.
If you don't have a printer, you can make your own flashcards. You can cut up scrap paper, an old cereal box, or even an old envelope that mail came in. It doesn't matter what colour or size your flashcards are. The goal is to practice, practice practice.

2. Grade 3's are continuing to practice division in their Jump Math book. You can do these pages in French or English below.

Grade 4's will be starting a new unit on dividing using Long Division. Watch the video link below several times before you begin. I have translated the French page into English to help you out. Practice, Practice Practice. Think about how many items can fit into each group. Skip count to help you get there. Keep Practicing your times tables. This will help too.
